June 2024: Community Garden Upgrades

At long last, the weather was in our favour, and volunteers from BePoRa were keen to rejuvenate the community garden. Using the UK Shared prosperity fund, awarded to us by Southampton City Council, we purchased hardy plants that will thrive in the shady Polygon Orchard. All members of the community are welcome to garden in this area, at the entrance to Rollesbrook Greenway (Wilton Avenue).

We are pleased to welcome the Rollesbrook Rock Snake to the garden. How long will she grow? Can we get her to reach the playground?!
Add some stones to the pot, or take one yourself to contribute to this friendly project.

We are also trialling some solar lights to help add a sense of security and magic to the area. If you would like to garden with your neighbours, please email polygonra@gmail.com to get in touch.
